this was a trip to remember for sure. June 19 the taylors, hornes, horvaths, and perk clan all headed down to oceanside california for a week of nonstop fun! we arrived in the evening just in time to unpack and let the adults go to dinner.
DAY 1. SUNDAY
on sunday we went to church in cali! it was just church! but it was a special day because it was FATHERS DAY! and i love my father very much! to celebrate his fatherhoood we took a trip to the... MORMON BATALLION! WOOOO. All i can say is that it is wayyyy better now than it was before! To make the little trip even better we were able to go when our old bishop was there doing the tours! After church amanda, dayna, and i took a walk down the pier to take pictures! we love doing that (:
DAY 2. MONDAY
Monday was beach day. THE first beach day, so of course it was wonderful! to make it even better, one of my best guy friends michael costello came to party at the fun beach! after spending all day at the beach we ate dinnner and just played card games til 10.
DAY 3. TUESDAY
Tuesday was just another day at the beach. That night we headed to spaghetti factory. A tradition with the horvaths!
DAY 4. WEDNESDAY
Wednesday we went to the beach just like every other day! This night we spent time with our ward friends! the costellos and the stakers are the best! such fun people.
DAY 5. THURSDAY
Thursday we went to the beach and came back a little early to go see toy story 3! It was alright for a disney movie... i dont know why they had a creepy little baby in it though. sorta weird.
DAY 6. FRIDAY
friday was so fun despite the beach having no sun at all! being the last day we had to do everything we could to make it the best. Around lunch, me jeff kerr, and nate perk took a trip to CESSY'S! it was quite good for a ghetto little mexican shack! After lunch and dinner at macaroni grill all the teenagers took a trip to DQ. Such fun memories there.
i loved california. so much fun with kaylee diane amanda and hunter. hope to go back soon!
